Phumble: Photo Swipe Cleaner

Data Deletion

Last updated: 26/09/2026

Phumble has no user account or developer cloud profile. Local app records, original gallery media, and support email are removed in different ways.

OverviewPrivacy PolicyTerms of UseSupportData Deletion

1. Clear selected local records

Open Phumble: Photo Swipe Cleaner Settings to use the relevant control:

  • Clear thumbnail cache removes temporary previews, never original media.
  • Clear review history removes completed keep/delete history while preserving the pending review queue and originals.
  • Discard review queue removes pending deletion choices without deleting originals.
  • Start fresh scan, shown after a scanner error, removes derived signatures, duplicate/similarity groups, and scan progress while preserving review choices and originals.

2. Remove all local app data

Android: Use your device's app settings to clear Phumble: Photo Swipe Cleaner's storage or app data, or uninstall the app. Device manufacturers use different labels.

iPhone or iPad: Delete the app and its data using the device's app-storage controls. Offloading keeps documents and data, so it is not the same as deleting the app.

This removes the app's local database, choices, scan results, and caches. It does not delete photos or videos from the shared system gallery. Current app builds disable backup of the private app database; separate photo-library and device backups remain controlled by your platform and backup settings.

3. Delete photos or videos from the gallery

  1. Swipe left or select the items you may want to remove.
  2. Open the review queue and uncheck anything you want to keep.
  3. Continue and review the final selection.
  4. Confirm deletion in Phumble: Photo Swipe Cleaner and complete any additional operating-system confirmation.

Clearing app data or uninstalling Phumble: Photo Swipe Cleaner does not perform these steps. After the operating system deletes media, the app cannot guarantee recovery. Use your system gallery or backup provider for any recently deleted or recovery option it offers.

Deleted media may remain in Recently Deleted, Trash, or a similar platform-managed area and may continue using device or cloud storage until it is permanently removed. The platform controls that area and its retention period; Phumble: Photo Swipe Cleaner does not empty it.

4. Revoke gallery access

Open system settings, select Phumble: Photo Swipe Cleaner, and change its photo or video permission. Revoking access stops the app from reading those items but does not remove existing media from the gallery. Clear local app data as described above if you also want to remove locally stored references and analysis records.

5. Delete support correspondence

If you contacted us, email sm.labs@rediffmail.com from the address used for the original message where possible. Identify the relevant conversation and ask us to delete it. You do not need an app account or government ID.

We keep support correspondence only for as long as needed to respond, maintain necessary support records, and meet applicable legal obligations. You may ask us to delete it. If an obligation requires us to retain part of a message, we will explain that when responding.

We can address information in our support records. We cannot remotely erase your local app database, gallery, device backups, mailbox, or copies held by recipients you selected.

6. No account-deletion request is needed

The current app does not let you create a Phumble: Photo Swipe Cleaner account and does not maintain a developer cloud profile for you. There is therefore no app account to close. Contact sm.labs@rediffmail.com if you need help identifying which local or support records apply, or read the Privacy Policy.

Google MediaPipe Tasks independently collects performance and utilization metrics on iOS and Android, and Google ML Kit collects limited SDK diagnostics and usage metrics on Android. We do not receive a user profile for those records and cannot retrieve or delete them for you. Google controls their retention and applicable privacy choices; the Privacy Policy links to Google's current disclosures.
