Terms of Use

1. About these terms

These terms apply to Phumble: Photo Swipe Cleaner, provided by the developer identified in the app's store listing. By using the app, you agree to these terms and the rules of the store from which you obtained it. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Apple's Standard End User License Agreement applies where the app's store listing does not provide a custom agreement. Mandatory consumer rights and applicable store terms continue to apply.

2. Permitted use

You may use the app for personal media organization on a device and photo library you are authorized to manage. Do not use it to access another person's media without permission, interfere with the app's security, redistribute unauthorized copies, or misuse its branding.

Your photos and videos remain yours. Permission to use the app does not give us ownership of your media, and the app does not grant you rights in media owned by someone else.

3. Automated suggestions

Exact-copy, look-alike, similar-photo, face-presence, and source results are automated aids. Except for a completed file-content hash match, they can be incomplete or wrong. File names, folders, metadata, perceptual hashes, and image models cannot prove who created an image or whether two moments should be treated as duplicates.

Review every item before deletion. Suggested keepers are recommendations based on available local metadata and are not a judgment about personal importance, image quality, ownership, or legal value. Cloud-only, unsupported, changed, or inaccessible files can be skipped.

4. Deletion and recovery

A swipe or selection adds media to a local queue; it does not delete the file. Deletion begins only after you review the queue, confirm your selection, and complete any operating-system confirmation. You are responsible for checking the final list and keeping any backup you need.

Once the operating system accepts a deletion, Phumble: Photo Swipe Cleaner cannot guarantee recovery. Your gallery or backup provider may offer a recently deleted area or another recovery option under its own rules. Clearing local app data does not delete original gallery media.

5. Permissions and availability

Gallery permission is required for the core review features. Full-library access gives broader results; selected or limited access restricts what the app can show and analyze. You may revoke access in system settings, but features that need that access will stop working.

Device capabilities, operating-system behavior, cloud-media availability, storage, thermal state, and permissions can affect previews, analysis, and deletion. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, support for every media format, or identical results across devices.

6. Privacy and support

The Privacy Policy explains local processing, gallery access, support correspondence, and deletion. Contact sm.labs@rediffmail.com for help. Send only information you intend us to receive.

7. App materials and open source

The app's original software, artwork, and branding belong to their respective rights holders. Open-source components remain governed by their own licenses. These terms do not override rights granted by an applicable open-source license.

8. Availability and responsibility

We aim to provide a reliable tool, but the app is supplied as available and may contain errors. To the extent permitted by law, we do not provide additional warranties beyond those required by applicable law or the store license.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer guarantees. You retain the rights available under the law where you live.

9. Stopping use and changes

You may stop using the app at any time. Follow Data Deletion to clear local app records or support correspondence. Uninstalling the app does not itself remove media from the shared photo library.

We may update the app and these terms as features change. The date above identifies this version. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.

10. Questions or disputes

Contact sm.labs@rediffmail.com with a question or concern. These terms do not require mandatory arbitration or prevent you from using courts, regulators, or consumer remedies available under applicable law.
